The year was 2002 and The Discovery Channel did an article on an all female motorcycle group. Inspired, I wrote them to ask if they would be interested to start a Georgia Chapter. They replied with interest, but it included me traveling to California and spending considerable time with them… not a big deal except for my full-time job as a parent and a full-time position as a manufacturer's rep in Atlanta. Immediately, I was determined to develop an all new motorcycle club for women riders in Georgia that was independent of any other Motorcycle Clubs.

I contacted fellow rider and long time friend, Slider, a gorgeous red-head. We were out one beautiful summer morning riding together with a group of friends in Gainesville, GA. We stopped for breakfast and struck up a conversation with a stunning and attractive rider who turned out to be Pose. From there I was introduced to Teenie and her twin sister Meanie; two of the hottest female riders in Atlanta. I felt like I'd known them my whole life. Then in September 02, Slider and I met Rev. We took one look at her and said “wow”. She was strong, independent and good looking. We knew she would be a good fit and we recruited her immediately.

The six of us decided to have a founding meeting in October of 2002. From there we originated our name and bottom rocker; created our By-Laws, our Constitution and the idea that we wanted to be an exclusive, heterosexual female group that is family oriented. We wanted to target women who take pride in themselves and their families, both in the community and professionally. We also agreed that we were interested in women who are energetic with personality and intelligence; that we are partial to women who give their time freely within the local community and that we aren't interested in sissies nor would we allow chick issues into our club. With that, our By-Laws were signed and sealed and the Dangerous Curves Club was born.
