WELCOME FROM THE DANGEROUS CURVES! Updated - 05/07/2008
Dangerous Curves was established in October 2002 by the "Super Six" founding members. We are an organization of family-oriented, female motorcycle riders who help foster, encourage and support women motorcyclists. Personal growth, development, self-respect and self-confidence are promoted, while we further the principles of safe motorcycle riding.
We recognize the importance of investing and giving back to the communities where we work and live. Our primary fundraiser is our Curves for Kids ride held each year in November. Our goal is to provide a wonderful Christmas to as many families in the Atlanta area as we can.
As we go into our 6th year, we are widely recognized as the leading female riding organization in the Southeastern United States. We're having a positive influence on female riders all over the region including gals in FL, NC, SC, TN, AL and GA. We've been featured numerous times in Full Throttle Magazine, Accent Gwinnett Magazine and FOX5 Televison.
We've ridden to places all over the United States including Sturgis, SD, the Colorado Rockies, Salem, MA, New York City and Washington, D.C.
Quote from a member: "A lot of girls want to be a Dangerous Curve!! Of course they do and why shouldn't they want to be, I wanted to be one for the longest time. Then when I went to a meeting, I was even more impressed with the activities and organization of the group- charity, sorority, fundraising, etc... A lot of those who want to be a DCMC member what to join because of the allure, the fun and reputation of being a Dangerous Curve. Some want to contribute, some only want to take from the group. This is what helps determine if someone is a great fit. Saying you're a Dangerous Curve and being a Dangerous Curve are two different things."
